Darling dears and the Gypsy three

Last weekend was amazing.
Mikalene and I put on a spring fling in the park.
We sang our songs while kids flew kites and blew bubbles and kicked balls and laughed and yelled, THE BEST YELLING and it was magical.




One of my very favorite moments was watching my darling boys fly their kite while I sang "Air to Me". it was perfect. So many friends were there and It was just happy.
Also so many kids sang along to my songs. Im telling you it was heaven! Thank you everyone who came. It wouldn't have been so special with out you!

The next day Mikalene, Dru and I went to Kanosh. We opened for the Bar G Wranglers on a flat bed trailer stage set up in the fire station. It was such a party!! The sweetest little town in between Beaver and Fillmore with some of the nicest people on this green Earth. Parley Pratt was especially sweet. He was in a horrible sledding accident a few days after Christmas and was in the hospital for weeks. His recovery is a miracle, his medical bills are extensive and his spirit is just beaming. We talked like pirates for awhile. I also met his Cousin Nathan who told me all about the 900 cookies that were donated to the event. He was a riot. I have never heard a thicker cowboy/country accent on a kid anywhere. He needs to be in a movie. They were also darling boys and I feel so blessed to have met them. and the whole town really!

On the way home from Kanosh we stopped in Cedar City to catch a little of the Brothers Comatose show. It was a killer way to end our musical weekend. The Morrison brothers are another set of darlings and I just love them. the banjo brother looks a little like Jon Butler and it made me miss him. so I was happy to get home to my crew.

sometimes I have the most ginormous smile. 

It was so much fun getting to know Mikalene and her Mama a little more. That girl is inspiring and is going to do some pretty amazing things. Great Weekend. More Great Weekends are coming.
