Better Out Than In

MY BRAIN IS GOING TO EXPLODE! I have 1.21 jiggawats of madness rolling around in there and I need to dump it out here. and so it begins.
Tomorrow we leave for Arizona. I'm playing a house concert for some wonderful family and friends and I can't wait. [I also can't wait for Last Chance with Rell and Stace]
As Soon as we return on Sunday, I head to Steves for a photo shoot. lets pray I wont look like I just traveled 6 hrs in between two carseated babes. lets also just pray that those babes are happy dears the whole way. to and from. yep, need a miracle. The reason for said Photo-Shoot is for our new Duo album, Fishorfolk. This project is everything I've ever wanted to do with music. It's folksy, gospely, poppy, bluegrassy inspirational feel good, God is real, you are loved music. and I feel so blessed to be able to be a part of it. SO that is exciting!
Also on the docket for next week. 2 band practices. 1 is for a Variety Christmas show that will feature the southern UTah crew that are on this awesome Dixie Care & Share Benefit CD.
EVERYONE MUST COME AND EVERYONE MUST BUY THIS!!!!
ITs so amazing. some of my very favorite artists are on it. some of my very favorite songs...and me. I can't believe I landed myself on this thing. Thanks Yvonne and Steve for all the good you are doing and for including me. Gawsh, you guys are great.
[Click on the photo to see who else is on the CD. I love it. and I also love how it looks like Im checking out Kurt Bestor and he's being all bashful about it. Oh Kurt.]
Band Practice number 2 is to run through a bunch of loverly songs for a wedding on Friday night.
Then Saturday all Day I will be at the Jubilee of trees. I'm on the Entertainment committee and get to enjoy and escort all the cheery and bright holiday talent that will be performing. and I am also playing a teeny set from 2-2:30. I love the Jubilee. Its warm, and smells like hot chocolate. and the trees are amazing and beautiful.
As I look at what I just typed, it doesn't seem like these things should be stressing me out. its only 5 things to do next week. the hard part is Jon Butler is doing 12 hr days these days. this semester of Grad school is the toughest. Also Last Night Max got sick. I've been blessed to have non-barfers. seriously, its rare for my kids to throw up. but it happened and its been sad. Fingers are crossed and more prayers for the rest of us to not 'get down with the sickness' but really thats unlikely. flip.
One last thing before I feel complete with my brain dump, I have a cute little jingle on the radio right now. Its ridiculous how happy I feel when I hear it, and its such a dumb little thing but still. Its me. On the radio. Ha,Im so lame.
Next month I'm also going to be in the St. George Magazines 40 under 40. which is cool too. K, those are my things. and now you can't say that I don't tell you stuff. ITs much better out than in, I just forget cuz really all I want to do is sing songs...Thanks for supporting me and reading and wanting to know, Blog. and Mom, and maybe a few more. I never know if anyone actually reads this thing. and to be honest I dont think my Mom does...oh Blog.
