This Happened! and I loved it!

John and James Abrams are Canada's Best new country artists. and it was a pleasure to open for them. a real treat! and then to listen to them, Good Gracious, THAT WAS FUN!
A few weeks ago I also got to participate in an amazing event called FLOODAID! Thanks Steve and Tamara, you are incredible people. All that you did to put on such a well-attended and super fun event makes me feel so proud to call you my friends. Sam Payne, you are brilliant. Ryan Tilby, your banjo skills amaze me. The Lawn Darts are some of the finest Rock-n Rollers ever, Matty Abernathy and his guitar are the coolest...and everyone who came or donated, YOU are Beautiful, Loving and Fantastic people. Thank you for being you, and how bout' NO MORE FLOODS, HUH!!!
Things have been busy. This week especially. Monday Night I had a rehearsal with Nick Lauritzen for a special Sacrament meeting program [LDS Church meeting] we are doing this Sunday. Yesterday, I recorded a new song with Andy Dodge that he and his brother Eric Dodge are helping me with. Then I Jazzy'd. Tonight was band practice. Tomorrow, Steve and I are playing at a wedding then the rest of the weekend will be spent writing my talk for church. I get a little queazy just thinking about it. Speaking in church is not my strong suit. I'd way rather sing. I tend to ramble and go off on wild Goose chasing tangents...hopefully I can keep this one wrangled and in the bag. Im praying already. I wouldnt even mind it if you prayed too. This program is for investigators and I hope I dont scare anyone off. Oh gawl...I'm already freaking myself out... Here's your personal invitation, If you have ever wondered what Mormon church is like, come and listen. Luckily, I wont be the only one speaking or singing. and Luckily, the people there are loving and accepting and don't even mind if Ladies get up and wild goose chase ramble. It's a good place.
