I Believe in God

This land is Your Land and this land is My Land.
and In This Land:
We get to choose what we believe in
Religiously, Politically, Personally.

I choose to believe in God.
...some do not.
What we believe in shouldn't offend each other,
as long as we believe in doing good.
Fighting about it is not going to help anything.

My brother Kyle, will be serving in Iraq by the end of the month.
I don't understand a whole lot about this war.
I understand that there are people who want to hurt our country and they are doing it in the name of their God.
That scares me.

The God that I know, created everything.
All things bright and beautiful.
All creatures great and small.
and all He wants is for
us to Love each other.
whatever our beliefs.

I wanted to share this today.
I miss Kyle. and pray that he will be safe.
Im a very lucky girl to have an amazing family.
Last month, I invited Kody, Kyle, and Lace into the studio with me to record one of my favorite songs.
I arranged 'Tell me why' an old folk song our mom would sing to us at night, and a favorite primary song,'All things Bright and Beautiful' together.
I was going to include it on my album but I decided I would like to give it away to anyone who wanted it.
I hope no one finds it offensive. its just what I believe.
